Famine doesn’t just ‘happen’ – and those who cause it must be held to account

  1. The lack of punishment for those responsible for famine in the past seems to be root cause. Famine is product of social and political actions and those involved should be booked for genocide or mass killings. Nigeria and Sudan are current examples for this human made tragedy.

    Very true George. Consideration of a majority of famines and even drought can be attributed to human action or omission at some stage of the process.
